A 50% silk 50% Merino wool fiber that works well on 18 or 13/14 count canvas. Only 1 ply is needed on either canvas. This fiber is perfect for belt backgrounds. 18 count white canvas can be completely covered by 1 ply of any color (including black!) without having to prepaint the canvas or deal with any white flecks showing through the color. This fiber is generally considered one of the easiest fibers with which to stitch. Great for beginners!
